Hi

I have a mixed hedge around my townhouse garden of escalonia, griselinia and laurel. The problem I have is that in winter the escalonia sheds most of its leaves and offers no privacy at all. Would there be any plant I could grow up through the hedge that would be evergreen in winter, ivy? Or is this a stupid idea, I'm not a gardener at all Very Happy

Ha, you are in the right place here then!!! No gardeners, only chancers.

Try a variegated holly. Ivy would eventually choke everything.
