This year there has been a bumper spaghetti harvest in southern Switzerland. The success of the crop was attributed both to an unusually mild winter and to the "virtual disappearance of the spaghetti weevil." Prices this year are expected to be low due to the bumper crop. This will be the exact opposite of farmers in Madagascar who are expected to loose millions due to the failure of the vanilla crop due to heavy rains. expect a shortage of vanilla pods in the shops this year bet Aldi regret selling it off cheap last week. |
