New Year's Resolution is to get into shape. Not me but my garden!!! Will be looking for help and ideas and a ears to moan to when I make a mess. I will add to discussions when I can but I doubt I can help as I am not just a beginner, but a reluctant one. Looking forward to getting to know you all. Looking forward to having the most wonderful garden by this time next year. Very Happy

How's the craic yourself?
The moaning will only be one way as we don't moan back, it's constructive criticism at best! Have a good root around the site as you will find the answers here already to many of your queries plus there is loads of good information and ideas for future projects. As for this time next year that will be entirely dependent on your efforts. Put up a few photos so as we can appreciate what you are trying to work from.
Finally, welcome aboard.

Hi Claire and welcome to the madhouse!

Take lots of photo's, not just for the forum but for yourself. It is really good to keep a record of your achievements.

As for being reluctant, my sister was like that. She went on to have an allotment, complete with greenhouse and productive grape vine! Gardening gets you like that. Very Happy

Thank you Tag and Sue.
Tag I said I needed ears to listen to my moaning. I didn't suggest that any of you would moan.
Sue, thanks. Maybe I will be like your sister but somehow I doubt that. If I bring the garden under a bit of control I will be happy.

Thank you Good Guy.
I really need info because I am clueless. My garden is not very big but my knowledge is even less.

That is not even close to the pathetic attempts at anagrams that you used to try and get away with. Have you run out?

Now come on fellas, give the girl a chance. We don't want to frighten her away.

Claire - I did say it was a madhouse. Now you know three of the inmates! Laughing
