Busy busy week, We had a break in the weather Tuesday and got the last of the bulbs in approx 30000 so looking forward to the spring, Planted, Tulips, Daffs, Crocus, Colchiums, Aliums and Cammesia.
Lost three trees so at least can start stocking firewood again. Heavy rain yesterday lead to a bit of flooding but no damage, windy again today Friday so will see what Monday brings.
My two beehives got blown over in the wind but i think all will be ok, again time will tell as they will not be touched again until next March/April, although they may need feeding around christmas and some treatment for mites.
lecture tonight at 8pm in Bots on Pollinators by DR Jane Stout looking forward to that. Stitching and sewing show on in RDS and carpentry store have demo that will be the R/R |
