I spotted this wasp walking with what looks like 2 dried bodies of wasps stuck behind him......

Looks like a queen wasp in the process of mating, i would put it up on facebook on Insects and invertebrates of Ireland, for confirmation.

Long antenna plus 7 abdominal segments equal male wasp probably stuck in two females that he has damaged trying to get away not usual that the expert opinion. Look up wasp lifecycle
