And maybe there will be a plague and maybe there will be a quasar pulse from behind the sun that will wipe us all out, farmers are complaining they are not getting enough for their produce, Supermarkets are selling food cheap. People are rushing to the supermarkets to buy the latest cheap deal, So what do we want, how are we going to feed the 9 Billion + in the world do you want to decide who lives and who dies. |

Every time people get annoyed about environmental issues they jump on the same old bandwagon and blame Monsanto but where is the scientific proof they are trying ti kill us off. So all the people who don't agree are in on the conspiracy |

Thanks for the link Sue.
I think that this is a calm and collected addition to the often hysterical and Ill-informed debate on these issues. I am sure that corporations' need for ever increasing profit is behind the majority of what we hear, both from the industry and its 'regulators' and from many in the scientific community.
No harm to scientists, but they can be as blinkered as the rest of us and their objectivity can be compromised, innocently or otherwise. The past history of being lied to or, at best, misled by manufacturers does not encourage unthinking acceptance of what they say. Volkswagen, anyone? |
