On a visit to Sliabh Liag today, we went on a boat trip to see the magnificent cliffs from sea level. While on the boat I spotted a group of Ravens playing along the cliff edge. Later we saw a Golden Eagle cruising the cliff tops. And we spotted a juvenile eagle near the top of Glen Swilly.

When I rented a house at Rameltontwo years ago an Eagle flew over I wished I had a camera to capture it . Wow an amazing place these eagles are being re..reared in

My grown-up daughter lives on a mountain north of the town - her kitchen sink gives a view out across the county to Muckish and Glenveagh. She often sees Eagles in the distance - they distract people from the washing-up!

I was sun bathing and I jumped up and ran indoors and Him indoors came out and could not believe it It is a beautiful sight Memorable ! ! It's not better down south

Sorry. Missed out the most important part of an Eagle soaring high above us . Incredible but most defiantly an Eagle. We had been at Glenveigh a few days before. An Awesome Sight. One I will never forget
