Id given by JazzSi. elsewhere.

Helianthus salicifolius common name willow leaved sunflower.....fits perfectly.
I love those narrow drooping leaves. How interesting.
Can reach 8 -10ft tall.
More about the plant than the flowers....It certainly has presence.

i would opt for Hibiscus but ill wait to see what silver surfer says if im right brilliant if not I never said a word.

Well I thought it was Hibiscus but couldn't make my mind up about the leaves. I thought Mallow leaves were wider
