I was given this perennial earlier this year, and I assumed it was Canterbury Bell. It is about 4 feet high, and the 'flowers' appear to be small green balls surrounded by green 'petals' Can anyone tell me what this is, and if what look like the flowers are all it produces please. (if these green things are the flowers, then it may be heading for the compost heap!)

Doesn't look right for Campanula.
Do please wait until those green flower buds open.
It may be beautiful.
Then add pic to this thread for further help with an id.

The flowers look as though they are already open! I have attached a close up of them.

Looks like a Shasta Daisy. What happened to the plant beside it. It looks a bit " shook " ! !

Don't think so. I have those and the leaves are thicker, darker and more serrated. As for the plant behind it....lol....we have a field next door and the grass creeps under the fence. All I will say is don't use roundup when its windy It used to be a lavatera.

Just to say thank you to everyone. I can think of nothing more frustrating than having a plant in the garden and not having a clue what it is. Thanks again.
