Nip out the lead shoot and will encourage more side shoots. Possibly should have done this earlier. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”

As a total novice to growing tomatoes, last year, I made the same mistake, leaving it very late to tip them. I got a useful crop, though, despite that. |
