Hi all,
This year i want to grow 400 dammeri plants frm cuttings so i plan to:
Take the cuttings and put them into a free draining compost ( mix of multi compost, sand and grit)
Put them in my new greenhouse - Concerned that the greenhouse will be hot for them and there wont be enough moisture retention. I do plan to keep the floor of the greenhouse wet and mist the leaves which will help with the moisture in the greenhouse but is there anything else i can do to help with the success rate of propagation?
I have read many pages on propagation and most talk about covering the cuttings with a bag but with having nearly 400 cuttings that isn't something i want to do if i truly don't need too as I'll be using a greenhouse.
Would appreciate any advice or tips anyone can offer.
Thanks
Brendan |
