A. Because I was the only one to make a 'barmy' comment and
B. You forgot the sticky back plastic. You cannot invent anything without that.

Look at your picture, some half made leaky bird box most likely knocked up in a Sligo shed.

Calm down yourself G. You almost have chlorophyll for blood. Just two more inane comments and you're there.

Calm it down folks and stick to the topic please.
Otherwise I will have to lock this thread up and that would not be fair on the original poster.

Thanks for that verge. I like a giggle and a bit of banter, but not when it gets personal.

I'm still looking for positive comments and ideas to help me with this project.

I agree: a bit of banter is ok but let's not go too far.
As for your project, Sue, I'm looking forward to watching its progress. I know there can be a lot of satisfaction in making something like the pond filter yourself, but equally, sometimes you just can't beat getting something "off the shelf" and putting your creative energies to a different use.

No need for that at all Verge, you are on the wrong track completely. Myself and Geranimojess have a 'special' relationship. You should see some of the PM's we exchange. And I am certain that the big G will back me up on this. Part of the misunderstanding stems from G answering a post that I had aimed at Sue and he thought it was for him.

Tagwex is correct Verge...if you have a problem it's with the Poster not the Post and closing down another Members Thread because of something I said {which in hindsight I regret} would be senseless...
I never intended any Malice/Spite or otherwise but looking back over the Post it appears that way and if I offended anyone I apologize...especially Sue for "Hijacking" your Thread...never my Intention...The Banter on this occasion got out of Hand and I accept full Blame...
