Picked up next week's offer leaflet this morning from Lidl and, if anyone's looking for collapsible plastic storage trays/crates for apples, onions etc., they have three sizes on offer next Thursday (7 May). They're not exactly cheap but, being plastic, will obviously last for years if looked after.

Looks good Blowin. I wonder though are those prices for 1 or 5. I looked it up on the website. Is the brochure saying 10 each for the largest ones? The website looks like it might be 10 for 5.

Also, John Innes no. 2 compost, 3.99 for 60 litres. Not bad. Might pick up a couple of bags today.

To me, it looks like 'each'. If it wasn't, the small ones would be costing 40c each and even Lidl couldn't do them that cheaply? As I said in my opener, they're not cheap, especially @ 10 for the big one, so I'll keep looking for a cake firm's delivery driver to see if I can avail myself of a few.

So it's not clear then. Lidl might surprise us yet with a bargain!
Cake firm? You know all the tricks.

Received e-mail back from Lidl today. The largest crates are 10 each.
