Hi sorry I got away from the site almost a year since the last post. The filter was made from a large 80litre storage box the water is pumped into the bottom with a 2 inch ribbed pipe specifically for the job ,the water fills the box and filters through large circular pads used for floor scrubbing equipment. Leaving at the top through a similar outlet ,I wonder does anyone know a solution to the top outlet gulping air makes it sound a bit strange, but it appears to be successful as fish waste gets deposited. As my original title was pond planting I'll add a few pictures through the seasons since.
