This is time lapse of the seed of Common stork's-bill - Erodium cicutarium
A hairy, sticky annual, its stems bear bright pink flowers, arranged in loose cluster, and often have dark spots on the bases. It produces a long seed-pod, shaped very much like the bill of a stork, which bursts open in a spiral when ripe, sending the seeds (which have little feathery parachutes attached) into the air.

Not my vid, Greengage.
I just stumbled across it and thought the members might be interested to see it.
A nice one to show to young folk that just think seeds are seeds and they're all the same. _________________ Gardening books.

Any idea what length of a time frame that is over? Under artificial light maybe as the light intensity didn't change. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”
