Every year I plant bulbs or seeds but I never get a full looking container that lasts the summer. Any experts on here to advise me what seeds to try this year to get nice full containers that last more that a couple of weeks? I'm open to any colour variety of flowers I have approx 10 containers to use so willing to try a few different types to try get a good result.
Thanks in advance

Bidens and nasturtiums make lovely bright yellow/orange baskets

I find marigolds absolutely fantastic, low maintainance, they will last from june right up to the first frosts provided you deadhead (so easy to do), water well and feed fortnightly once they show signs of needing it, they are tough little guys. There are alot of varieties available, they are so easy to grow from seed, they bush out very well, rabbits dont like them, wind and rain resistant par excellence,
4 per 10 litre pot, I do approx 36 pots per year. Going to add in some trailing lobellia this year instead of dahlias. Highly recommend them.

The better half keeps giving out that I grow the same variety year in, year out, and end up with a sea of orange, so this year going to grow 3 different varieties.
