Hi my name is Kathy and today I began my challenge which is to get out and do something everyday in the land around my home here in the West of Ireland, I also started a blog where I have posted some pictures of how the site looks today , I am a novice gardener on a tiny budget so I want to find out as much as possible about how to plant cuttings , how to grow from seed and what the best plants are to suit the area here. This is a photo of what the land looks like , and as I will be doing most of the work myself ; I would be delighted to hear any ideas others have on how best to deal with the growth here , at the moment I am clearing a little at a time and trying to plant something as I go, today I planted some willow cuttings as this is growing already here alongside some other plants I planted over the years some of which I need advise on later. Have been doing some reading about growing without tilling any ideas on this anyone, sounds good for maybe some areas here. Kathy. and thank you for reading happy gardening everyone. |

Hi Kathy. Welcome to the forum and all the best with your garden.
For resizing photos I use an app called SimpleResize. It's dead easy. |

Welcome back Silver Surfer you were missed. Someone was looking for skills a few weeks back, trying to identify an Astilbe I think. Could have been Kim. Took a while but I think they got there in the end. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want.
