Here's an inspiring project: germinating seeds from Ginkos which survived the atom bomb in Hiroshima and using the young trees to promote peace. Wouldn't it be great to have some to grow in Ireland?

Are any of you out there well enough politically connected (or just have neck enough) to approach a city mayor about this project? There's a shortage of cities in Donegal or I'd have a go myself.

There is a shortage of cities nationwide good guy, only 5/6 depending on your view. But Wexford should definitely be added to the list.

They might survived the atom bomb in Hiroshima but would they survive vandalism and neglect in Ireland.

That would only happen in NW Sligo.
