ive started mapping out a large bed for all sorts or bulbs. Lilies, allium, hyacinths, tulips mostly. I plan on using the layering technique for the corners or background areas..but im confused as to how deep I should plant the deepest bulb(lilies). Can you guys give me some advice..please!

It's good to see you've rationalised your plan for the new garden. The simple, bold, quite formal layout you have evolved will give loads of opportunities to show your planting off to its best effect. I like the idea of having a bed with loads of bulbs in succession.
Well done.

Twice the measurement of the bulb, as a general rule. If you plan to grow tulips, mark them with a stick when in flower, because unless you lift and store them, they will only last a couple of years.
