This is another lovely Donegal garden. These photos were taken in mid-July, too. The rhododendron is not in the courtyard, but is a sizeable tree in the main gardens. I've posted some photos of more of the main garden, taken a year or so ago, elsewhere on this forum.
The rhodo was a complete surprise - I never expected to see one in flower so late.

I've never met her but the gardens have come on by leaps and bounds recently. They were lovely in Derek's time but had gradually declined for want of passion.
