I meant to post these a few weeks ago, but here they are now.
I like the zaniness of the "Pinus rosa"! Originally, I trained the rose up into a Cretaegus Paul Scarlet, to give a second period of flora I interest. This year it decided to grow better into the pine.
I've no idea of the name of the rose; I layered it from one in my father's garden years ago and he was dead by then. However, it is not too far away, genetically, I think, from the wild rose.
I'd appreciate any suggestions as to why the clematis has been so reluctant to flower. It put on really vigorous growth and has given about 3 flowers so far!
