No expert but someone will be along shortly and if I get this right and beat greengage and silver surfer to the punch then it is major bonus points for me.
I think it may be a bottle brush of some sort.

Looks like Celosia.
Maybe one such a Celosia spicata.

Me wrong? Never! "I'm no expert"........
And just because you say I am wrong doesn't mean that I am or that you are right either!!!!!!!!!! Do think you are the resident expert or what?
I'm sticking with a bottle brush until someone in authority comes along.

Are you currently in Australia greengage? That was posted this afternoon, you need to get yourself a smartphone as it will notify you when a new post is up!

PS. Just agree with me that it is a bottle brush and all will be well.

Afraid it has nothing to do with Bottlebrush, all its common names are Cockscomb, Yellow Toreador, Red Cockscomb, Foxtail Amaranth, Crested Celosia, Fire-flame Bush, Shinaji Tea, Woodfordia.
As for Australia No, I will not get a phone that is smarter than me, as humans we need to think for ourselves some day when all this technology collapses i will come into my own.

IT'S A BOTTLE BRUSH AND THAT'S THAT.
You are just showing off now.
Technology will pass you by if it hasn't already.
