Margo, I heard an interesting thing on the BBC's "Kitchen Cabinet" programme. In Spain, Dahlia tubers are dried out, and ground to flour for use in breads and pastries. So if you don't fancy lifting them for the winter, and can afford to just replace them, it might be an interesting experiment.

That school sounds rough.

Rough isn't the word. Average was 1 stabbing a week

Better off out of there then. I'd say once you had made your mind up to go then you were literally counting the days to get out of there.

I could if I wasn't on your ignore list!!!!
Have had to do that for a few others on here before. Make sure they are compressed or else they will be too big and will not load.

Phew that's a relief.
I do mine on the computer, any of the photo editing suites will do it for you. I use microsoft office picture manager. There is an app that good guy mentioned a couple of weeks back and he does it all on his phone. Cannot remember the app name though.

Hi, Gemini.
I use an app called Simple Resize on my iPad. It does what it says on the tin! It will work on an iPhone, too.

Hey Margo, I am heading up to Kiltimagh in the next few days, any chance of a mug of tea?

It could be 7 years since i was last in Mayo, could easily be another 7. I was hoping to see the bog in action. Nothing like that around here.
