all the flatleaf parsley i grew has bolted. Is there anything i can do with it?
or should i just pull it out? |

You can still keep using it for ages. Cut off the flowering stem: leaves as usual, stem and flowers for stock. If you have enough, you can make a pure parsley stock, which mixed with roux and a bit of milk makes a good parsley sauce for fish (with a fish stock cube) or potatoes (with a veggie one). Keep picking until it is a flowering stem with no leaves. That's what I do, because I'm very short of space, and need to get every last bit out of things like parsley.
If I had more space, I'd dig it up, put something else there, and put my new parsley in a different place :) |
