Hi
Last June/July i planted some pot marigolds out in my borders.
They flowered quickly and have continued to flower all winter and are still flowering.
It says on Wikipedia that they are short lived perennials.
Does anyone know if they flower all year round please?
Even in the middle of winter we had a few flowers on them, they are vivid orange and yellow, really lovely to see colour in the garden for so many months.
I bought the seeds from ebay and the packaging was in russian lol
But it did say Calendula on the packet .
Thank you |

Calendula would be more Annual than perennial but given the right conditions it would flower most of the year and self seeds profusely. |

Agree, we nearly always have some flowering somewhere in the garden. The petals are edible, and look great in salads. One day I may even get round to making a jelly or jam from them. |
