I must admit I thought it was a good tag line too, pity about the attitude.
And yes we did have to do all that, only sorry that I took no photos of the jungle before we reclaimed it. Still digging stones out of it. I chose the tag line because it was very apt. Yes 'The Field' is a play, by John B. Keane from 1965 but it is also a film made in 1990, an absolutely brilliant film, have seen it 3 or 4 times now. Whilst on holiday in Galway a few years ago we went to find the actual field that was used in the film, it is a couple of miles outside Leenaun. Also went to the house that the Bull McCabe lived in. If you haven't seen it , watch it, you wont be disappointed.

HI Tagwex, it was a terrible day in Waterford. No gardening done. I spent the day with my mum.

I have seen the film The Field. I have also seen the play on a number of occasions (last December being the last time) I have read the play also. Are you then like the Bull McCabe?

What attitude did you mean when you mentioned your tagline? Not mine I hope. I didn't realise the significance for you of the complete transformation.

My garden is far from a field. Quite small but I look forward to some productivity. I have some vegetables planted.

No no not yours at all. It was the attitude of the person whose tagline that we were talking about. I thought it was a bit much and unwarranted.
Defo a field fan then if you have seen and read it all, I am bit more like the bird than the bull but I didn't eat the meat out of the sandwich!
Spent most of the day in the shed myself sorting out a few odd jobs, rain started about noon and hasn't stopped yet.

Be afraid, be very afraid Geranimojess as I know where you live. Some of us had to go to work today, hate when work gets in the way of hobbies, so much to do in the garden still. Hohum better get out there now and do another bit till dark and then I will be in to sort you two out. Who is the ould codger that you refer to? Just for transparency sake you understand.
