Right lads, what is this, found it in the plot today where last years tomatoes were not that that is relevant. I must say I haven't noticed one before.

Geranium robertianum.
You can easily tell ...crush a leaf......they stink..I hate the smell.

Extremely easy to hand weed out, as the whole plant no matter how large has one tap root that pulls up well...(rather than a fibrous mass of roots)

Well done silver surfer. you win! I see they change colour maybe that is why I didn't notice it before. It was the colour and leaf shape that caught my attention. Hopefully all dead out here now as I have been spraying and strimming for the last while.
