If Elvis, Cliff Richard, Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Rick Nelson, Tommy Steele etc began the genre of 'Rock 'n' Roll (as they did), I can never get to grips with all the stuff since then that's been put out as being of that category but, if you were 'Bobby's Girl', Sue, was your maiden name Maugham?

When I was little, a neighbour of ours had a collie dog called Spot. I adored that dog and my dad used to sing 'I want to be Spotty's girl' to me.

Fast forward a 'few' years, Dave found a tiny black kitten in the gutter and bought him home - that's Bobby.

So you attached yourself to the cat rather than vice versa?

It's mutual. I know there are a lot of cat haters out there, but it was love at first site for me and my boy. He was so weak when Dave fished him out of a puddle and bought him home he was dragging himself around trying to follow me. He wanted to be with me so much that I had to carry him around in my apron pocket.

Blaaaaaah! Cute I suppose, grudgingly.

Give me a dog with attitude any day though.
