Hi
I'm just about to sow different parts of our land with grass seeds.

The area is 400 square mitres
I have a 10kg bag of grass seeds and approx 4 lbs of clover

Thank you very much. This is the first time I'm doing a lawn.

Hi Mayo
being of the old school i use imperial rather than metric buti calculated it out and the 10kg and the 4lbs together should be the right amount you may have a few handfuls left over.just be careful not to be too heavy handed when seeding.

What type lawn are you looking for? Would it be ornamental or utility?
For the former 20-25 g/m2, 15-20 g/m2 for the latter.
Approximately.

Hi,
We've sown the seed, we had just enough!

The garden is ornamental really, it will have light/ medium traffic and sometimes the hens will be on it lol
