This was given to me, divided from main plant. Clump forming, red flowers, not a climber though it looks like one with the wiry green stems. Owner didn't know what it was. You might not be able to tell now from just the leaves.

Looks like Leycesteria formosa also known as Pheasant berry, nice flowers, Lovely to look at lovely to hold but i dont personally like it.

I took a cheeky cutting of this on the roadside in Wales, two years ago. Had seen it in the gardens at Portmeirion village but wasn't brave enough to pinch a cutting there. I got it to root and it is now flourishing in a big pot by the front door. I had no idea what it was as I had never seen it before, so thank you. Mystery solved.
