Burtown house is close to Balitore village in county Kildare, It is open for the next couple of weeks to show off their display of Crocus, snowdrops and winter aconites. Another visit will be required to see the display of Daffodils, Hellebore, Trilliums. May is recommended as a good time to visit as the gardens will be at the best when peonies and the perennial borders will be looking good, It also has a walled vegetable garden and excellent cafe where produce from the garden can be had, there is a small plant sales area as well. This was my first time to visit and I was very impressed so Ill be back again. Ill attach a couple of pics so you can see what it looks like.

Finally got the electric back last night - five days without, so catching up on what I have missed on the forum.
I love looking at the old houses around the country, this one is Edwardian I think, a simpler style than some of the over ornate ones. Pity about the satellite dish, it just ruins the look, should be in the attic space methinks.
