I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish all my virtual gardening friends a happy christmas and a prosperous new year. Thank you all for the discussions and advice and for providing a new platform of entertainment for me, I started out as a voyeur and eventually decided to join up and get involved, and I am glad that I did. Some of you have helped us enormously in our initial quest of growing our own veg. this year, so next year we are aiming for bigger and better now that some of the teething problems are out of the way.
As the avatar states "May your hands always be soiled". _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”

You beat me to it...had a few problems with the Computor over the last few weeks with Firefox not responding and something about Google Chrome but the Son got rid of both and have had no problems since TG...
Anyway here's to everyone having a fantastic and Peaceful Christmas and a Bright New Year...despite the woe's and negative outlooks we have our little Gardens to keep us occupied and our Sheds/Glasshouses/Polytunnels to escape the Rat Race...
Enjoy them all...we're one of the few groups of People who seem content with our lot...long may it last.....
Cheers....Dave.... |

I second that, someone once said you can bury a lot of your problems digging in the garden. |

Ha, I lost two €50 notes out there last summer whilst rotavating. Anyone offering to come dig the place over to find them? _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. Nahhh, I don't think I'll bother, I expect they are composted by now!
I'd just like to add my season's greeting to all my virtual gardening buddies. It's been good fun taking part in the discussions, etc. and very informative too. I'm looking forward to more of the same next year.
So, a happy and peaceful Christmas to one and all. |
