Well now I just feel seriously silly. And not all of you are coming across as benign, gentle, compassionate gardening types, but I still have faith that you're all a good bunch.

Jokes aside, you know what's seriously odd about all of this is that this Professor has a serious list of credentials. i know I'm dumb as dock weed but how did anyone convince him to attach his fairly illustrous name to all of this?? Ah well. You read it here first folks. It was an entertaining thread at least. Smile

Why should you feel silly ? Your only mistake is to trust that newspapers do their best to print the truth. And as I've said already some of the people on the forum that are pouring scorn on the idea of this technology are probably reacting to the totally over-the-top headline as much as anything, and rightly so. I'm sure the professor never made any such claims........it's just the usual media hyperbole !!
