I sowed my pansy seeds last year (Viola x wittrockiana) far too late and as a result my garden didn't really have much flowers until late April much to my disappointment.

This year I'm anxious to get a head start and was reading that Pansies for next spring should be sown around now.
My greenhouse is about a million degrees at the moment with door and window open which is fine for the chillies and other heat loving plants i have in there for the summer but I don't think the Pansies are going to like it. The house isn't much better but i suppose when the weather reverts to normal next week the house should cool down to low 20's again. Do i need to wait or will the heat not matter as long as the trays are out of direct sun?

Anyone else sowing anything of interest for next spring?
