Hi
We have a large compost bin and make beautiful compost from it.
I have just make a lot od elderflower cordial and I was wondering if the spent flowers and lemons can go in the compost bin?
The reason for my reluctance is the sugar content that I added to the flowers and lemons to make the cordial
Does anyone know what I should do please? |

Throw the lot in......the quantity would be proportionally very small, and anyway, if you throw out rotten fruit, it would have natural fruit sugar....I don't see there's a problem. |

Soak them in water, then rinse of the sugar. |
