As I am new to gardening and this is my second year to sow Tomato plants I am looking for some advice.
I have been picking out the little tubers that sprout out between the stem and the leaves. Feeding them once per week. They are in a polytunnel and have tomatoes on them.
I have been told to remove some of the bottom leaves, Should I?

I usually remove the bottom leaves if they are causing an obstruction of light reaching the green tomatoes. From reading various blogs over the years, it's also a good idea to remove them when the plants are well developed to increase airflow around the plants - assuming this is to keep the moisture from building up and causing problems. |
