Hi,
Does anyone know of a cheap place selling white clover seeds please?
We have quite a large area to to do and it will cost us a lot if we just keep buying the little bags of seeds.
I really need to buy them in bulk if it's at all possible.
Many thanks |

I bought some recently from a normal seed/feed shop and you can buy in whatever quanity you want. I bought 1kg for £9.50 and that will cover approx an acre. So pretty cheap compared to grass seed. Also have read other threads about sowing a glover lawn instead of grass to reduce cost and maintainer so I plan to test it out down my lane before doing it on my lawn.
What are you planning to go with it, if you don't mind me asking? |

Hi,
Thank you for replying.
I am planning 3 experimental patches of lawn.
One is white clover , one is camomile and one is creeping thyme.
We really don't want grass at all, we want to keep maintenence down to a minimum so we can concentrate on growing our fruit and veggies.
We are new to Mayo, been here about 6 weeks and loving it! |
