Hi,
Does anyone know of a cheap place selling white clover seeds please?

We have quite a large area to to do and it will cost us a lot if we just keep buying the little bags of seeds.

I really need to buy them in bulk if it's at all possible.

Many thanks Smile

I bought some recently from a normal seed/feed shop and you can buy in whatever quanity you want. I bought 1kg for 9.50 and that will cover approx an acre. So pretty cheap compared to grass seed. Also have read other threads about sowing a glover lawn instead of grass to reduce cost and maintainer so I plan to test it out down my lane before doing it on my lawn.

What are you planning to go with it, if you don't mind me asking?

Hi,
Thank you for replying.

I am planning 3 experimental patches of lawn.

One is white clover , one is camomile and one is creeping thyme.

We really don't want grass at all, we want to keep maintenence down to a minimum so we can concentrate on growing our fruit and veggies.

We are new to Mayo, been here about 6 weeks and loving it! Smile
