Hi all.

My name is Luis and I just joined the site to learn more about European and Irish trees and forests. I already know quite a bit, but I could always learn more and I hope some of you won't mind answering some of my queries from time to time.

I work in conservation forestry, my specialty are the Big Woods forests of Central Minnesota in the United States. I also know quite a bit about European forests and trees, since the topic has been a fascination of mine for quite some time.

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know who I was and what I do. Cheers to all.

-Luis.

you could contact the tree council of Ireland, they have a book on champion trees and one on native trees and how to grow them for free maybe you will have to pay postage as the have no money.
