Hi everyone!

A small area of Rosť Bay Willow Herb has appeared on the bank incline over our back garden. It currently covers an area of roughly nine sq feet. It is starting to flower.

My question is - is there a danger with this plant that it will become rampant and overwhelm the other plants and flowers on the bank?

Should I spray round up on it or its it worth keeping? Does it need to be controlled if I keep it and what is the best way to control it?

Any suggestions welcome.

Sinzo

Kill it before it flowers. It is a really pernicious weed. Roundup, or hand pulling will work fine, but don't let it flower and seed.

if you yank it before it sets seed, you should be able to just chuck it in the compost bin.
