Anyone know where you can get Barley Straw? Want to see if it'll help clean up a pond. Unfortunately i don't know any farmers.

where are you based? you should be able to get it in pond hobby in north county dublin, but any good garden centre which sells pond accessories should have it in stock. |

I'm in south dublin, i don't tend to visit garden centres in this area but will hunt some out. Thanks for reply. |

Hi, we are using a bacterial product in our lake, one called sludge away which digests all organic waste, leaves etc, also acf32 to tackle the causes I know my supplier is now stocking a product for the domestic market, will try find out its name for you and who is stocking it.thanks richard |

Thanks Richard. The pond got a clear out in Winter and is doing well now but will give your guy a shout if it gets mucky again. |
