I'm growing chilli plants on a sunny windowsill. So far, they are doing well. I'm wondering should I pinch the leader out to encourage branching, as in tomatoes? Would this increase the yield? |

I would think so; it makes sense, but I've never grown chillies this way in Ireland. All I know is that they like being a bit pot bound, don't like too much water (water really well, then let them dry out), and tomato food once a week. |

Thanks for the advice, Tippben. I wouldn't have thought about them needing to dry out like that, or liking being pot bound. |
