You beat me to it T. I only came on the site to say take care and stay safe.

All pots moved, generator on standby and candles at the ready.

It's on it's way Margo. I think for ONCE the Met Office got it right! We have even been mentioned by NHK on the other side of the world.

The mind boggles!

Don't know what it's like where you are, but it's getting pretty stormy out there again. Stay safe people.

I was driven to join up when I heard of the mysterious case of the missing pallettes from a builders yard. Just cannot remember where I heard it from initially though!!! So I decided then and there to make it my lifes mission to solve this crime. Have you any clues to lead me in the right direction Sue?

Your life's mission eh? What a terrible waste of a life.

Anybody done any gardening today? God I'm bored, there is only so much genealogy I can take. I am developing square eyes from staring at a screen. And there is SO much that needs doing out there!

Update. I received an e-mail today telling me that I am through to the next stage of the application process after satisfactorily (aced it actually!) passing the written test and interview. Next stage is at Garda HQ in the Phoenix Park. I am totally thrilled and delighted.
