I found it growing in a garden in the west of Ireland Mayo, I suspect i know what it is but need someone to confirm my suspicion, I wont say what I think it is in case I influence anyone, any Ideas.

OK I wont doubt you but The leaves look like Laburnum only smaller and the flowers are pea shaped therefore i assumed it was a member of pea family i.e Fabaceae or Leguminosae so I googled what info I had and came up with Colutea

have another look please. I have not seen this plant before anyone traveling in west of Ireland it is growing beside the greenhouse in the Castlebar country life museum.
No gardener around to ask as it was late in the day.

The times I've been to the Country Life Museum which is quite often as I don't live very far away. Do you know I've never seen a gardener.

Have a good look at the flowers of Colutea.
With Colutea the pair of upright petals are larger, and the forward pointing lower ones much narrower and pointed. Compared to the Coronilla in your picture.
Additionall Colutea flowers usually have pretty markings on the 2 upward petals.
