over the past few weeks I have gone through over 50 sq meters of veg drills with a hand trowel taking out every weed and scrap of root I could find and so far I haven't seen a single earth worm but today I found a flat worm and after looking on here I have seen others with the same problem. Is the bit of black plastic the only way of dealing with these buggers or is there something I can introduce to fight them off naturally or if needed a chemical? Any help would be appreciated

i found another couple today and the remains of the black eggs so I know what they are alright I would just love to know if there is a way of controlling them or is the black plastic trick the only gig in town?
