I planted a jasmine last spring/summer. I can't remember what variety it was, but it had small white flowers last summer. It seemed to be doing well, but at some point in winter it lost all its leaves (I'm not sure if it was supposed to or not?), but there are no signs of new leaves appearing, no new buds or any other signs of life. The tips of each stem are brown and not very healthy looking.
It's planted in a large container, with a trellis attached, on a south facing wall. I'm not sure at this stage if I should just take it out and start with something new, or is there any hope for it?

Everything is late. It looks OK. If you scratch at one of the stems, you will see if its green inside. |
