Hi All,

Just looking for some much needed advise. 3 of my 2 year old apples trees have been damaged. I'm not to sure what to do with the broken trees. The whole tops of the tree leader have been taken off. Only 2 branches remain

I have attached some photos. Any advise here would be much appreciated Smile

No photos, anyway its no problem, what you do is get a large cane and place this beside the main trunk, take one of the branches and tie it too the cane this will now become your new leader which will produce new branches, it will take time but it will work.
Option two, if the trees are only two years old cut them back above the graft and you could retrain them as epallliers or cordon.
