Anyone know where I can buy a decent watering can, preferably one with a long spout and a head that gives a gentle spray of water, rather than the plastic ones with short spouts and when you tip it if floods the seed trays washing seed and compost out. there must be better alternatives. |

Pardon my previous post, I did it like that for effect. But the truth is, if you're looking for the best watering can, there really is only one. Haws.
I have one of these:

The one I have was not cheap (this is good), about €70. But you pay for quality.
I think you can order them online but Hanley's in Cork or I think Mr Middleton in Dublin have them.
The one I have behaves exactly as you want. A fine gentle rose of water, whether facing up or down. |
