My Son tried that for over a year with Dublin Co Co....no bags of any kind to be put into the Bins only Food....the Bins were collected every 2 weeks....meanwhile {specially in warm Weather} you have to put up with an infestation of Maggots- Bluebottles- Flies and God knows what other vermin plus the stench....
So much for Health and Safety .... |

i think there was already the legal requirement to provide the brown bins; when i rang to have mine taken away a few years ago, they said they were legally required to provide me with one. but they relented when i pointed out i composted most of my biodegradable waste, and that the brown bin took up space i simply did not have. |
