Just saw an article in last Saturday's Irish Times about the Irish Lumper variety of potato being sold in M&S.
Anyone know if seed potato from this variety is on sale anywhere, or if anyone has tried it? |

The Seed Savers had/have them. I grew lumpers a few years ago. They were terrible. Lumpy shape and discoloured with black stained flesh. You know when you cook potatoes and a random one is off? They were all like that. A far cry from what is described in the Irish Times article, though these new lumpers are "an improved version", so not the genuine article.
