Hi all. Went out to what I laughingly , at the moment , call my herbaceous border only to notice to my utter dismay that the iceland poppies which I planted last summer have all disappeared. I planted them in a gravel/soil mix which I thought would keep them well drained enough. It seems I was wrong. If anyone who has been successful in propagating these beautiful flowers in recent years could give me a pep talk I would greatly appreciate it. Even if you just want to commiserate with me I need some counselling I think Confused

Answer they are an Annual plant, you plant them they flower and die.
Next year you plant them they flower and die so on and so forth..
